I recently had some fairly significant groundwater intrusion in my basement and had four waterproofing contractors inspect the house and quote the work. Matt at United was incredibly knowledgeable and quickly worked up a plan for remediation, including sump pump and interior French drain. Their cost was efficient, they got out within one week to start work (all of the other contractors told me I would have to wait 5-6weeks), and their crew did a fantastic job. It was the first project we did on the home we bought. The team did an excellent job, and Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He even helped me change out the damper to a quieter one as the noise bothered me. The team responded promptly when the pump started having problems a few years later, installing a new one at no charge as it was within the warranty period. We used their services years ago when water entered our basement near the bilco doors. We never had another problem in that area of the basement since then. This year, a water problem developed in the opposite half of our basement. I strongly suspect it was the result of the earthquake we had in New Jersey in April. There was a drought all summer, and if there was any rain at all, the basement had water problems.   We called United Waterproofing  because they did an excellent job last time.  We were very pleased again. The team was highly skilled, well-coordinated, efficient, and very neat.  It has rained since they did the work, and their system is functioning perfectly. quite a few lengths of outdoor underground drainage, added decorative gravel, replaced a sump pump, and cleaned/disinfected a pretty funky crawlspace.  Matt, the foreman on the jobs, was wonderful to work with -- knowledgeable, professional, personable, and always made it clear he was looking out for our best interests and and doing things in the most cost-efficient way.  All work was performed in a speedy and professional manner and results have been very satisfactory thus far.  Apparently United is subdivision of remodeler and contractor Ferrandino Enterprises which handles all sorts of residential and commercial construction work and I expect to be doing more business with them soon.  Many thanks, and very satisfied with all work!
